Gas carrying bracket for KZ
For several years now, Rena Castings has been supplying an aluminium gas carrying bracket to KZ, a specialist in the field of components for gas and water.
In an intensive development process, together with the customer, a technically complex and high-quality component was created. Many functionalities are combined in one part.
These components are die casted and subsequently CNC machined, assembled and (according to specification) 100% tested for leak-tightness. A novelty are the O-ring sealing surfaces, which are casted with a tolerance of ±0,05 without having to be CNC machined!
Burner housing for HR boilers
As a relation of Rena Castings, ACV develops, produces and sells technological solutions for both the production of hot water and heating applications in homes and businesses.
Rena Castings was asked to develop the burner housing for a complete new line of condensing gas fired boilers. Together, functionality and manufacturability have been optimised, resulting in both cost-saving and safety-increasing results.
The uniqueness of this product is the direct assembly of the viewport into the aluminium die casted part ("the sight glass") which allows for an optimal control of the ignition of the device.
