COMPONENT FOR AIR SUPPLY IN DIESEL ENGINES DEUTZ

Through years of intensive contact between the sales/project team of Rena Castings and the development/purchasing of Deutz AG, new products are frequently born. The engineering department of Rena is of great added value for Deutz AG. Rena Castings belongs to the "Preferred Supliers" of Deutz AG.

The product below is part of the air circuit for the intake air of an internal combustion engine.

In this product several sensors are connected of which the connections are CNC machined by Rena. The pre-casting of sealing surfaces, which do not need any further machining, and the leak-tightness of the complete component are the most important characteristics. During the development of this component, casting simulations were carried out to ensure optimum filling of the product.

MEASURING INSTRUMENTS MADE OF DIE-CAST ALUMINIUM

Measuring instruments are used to monitor the emissions of diesel engines. In this case, a high-precision aluminium casting part is used to achieve this.

With the die-cast part below, flow measurements and temperature measurements are performed on the exhaust gases of a diesel engine. By means of the venturi principle the flow measurements are realized. The contours of the venturi are essential for reliable measurement results. Rena Castings has succeeded in completely casting the inside of this injection moulding product in one go, without any further post-processing.

The tolerances on the product contour on the inside are in the order of ±0.05mm! In addition, partial assemblies are carried out in order to be able to offer a complete aluminium component, which can be used directly on the production line at our client's premises.
